CAD/CAM

Complete computer intergrated manufacturing, computer aided mold design, CAD part and surface development, and shop floor tool path programming.

3D data from the customers is received for quote in a variety of formats. Canada Mold primarily uses UG NX 10 to do our mold designs, but we have Catia 5 R25 also.  We prefer our data in native format (for our CAD packages) but we also accept non-native CAD data in STEP and IGES formats.

Full CNC machinging (both horizontal and vertical axis with spindle speeds up to 25,000 RPM).  The data is passed from CAD to the CAM department where cutting tool paths are  programed using Tebis, Power Mill and Lemoin RTM software.  

The CNC department can accept data from customers for machine only jobs in the native formats of our software or again in transfer formats such as STEP and IGES.
